Defenders of Wildlife

Defenders of wildlife is dedicated to the protection of all native wild animals and plants in their natural communities. we focus our programs on what scientists consider two of the most serious environmental threats to the planet: the accelerated rate of extinction of species and the associated loss of biological diversity, and habitat alteration and destruction. long known for our leadership on endangered species issues, defenders of wildlife also advocates new approaches to wildlife conservation that will help keep species from becoming endangered. Our programs encourage protection of entire ecosystems and interconnected habitats while protecting predators that serve as indicator species for ecosystem health.

Forest Watch

Forest Watch works to protect and restore forests-young and old, small and large, private and public.
Our goals are to restore wilderness, protect imperiled wildlife, improve public land management, and promote ecological forestry. ForestWatch protects wildlife, wilderness, water, and sustainable
access throughout the Los Padres National Forest and the Carrizo Plain National Monument. We achieve this through education, advocacy, and when necessary, legal action for the benefit of
our communities, climate, and future generations.

International Wolf Center

the international wolf center advances the survival of wolf populations by teaching about wolves, their relationship to wild lands and the human role in their future. The International Wolf Center uses science-based education to teach and inspire the world about wolves, their ecology, and the wolf-human relationship. The International Wolf Center envisions a world where wolves and humans coexist within healthy ecosystems. Humans respect, understand, and value wolves, allowing their populations to exist at ecologically functional levels over broad expanses of their native range.

Center for Biological Diversity

At the Center for Biological Diversity, we believe that the welfare of human beings is deeply linked to nature — to the existence in our world of a vast diversity of wild animals and plants. Because diversity has intrinsic value, and because its loss impoverishes society, we work to secure a future for all species, great and small, hovering on
the brink of extinction. We do so through science, law and creative media, with a focus on protecting the lands, waters and climate that species need to survive. We want those who come after us to inherit a world where the wild is still alive. Join us.
